Chase Credit Cards
19 reviews and 13 comparisons
Chase runs the deepest rewards ecosystem of any US issuer. Ultimate Rewards points earned on a Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, or one of the Ink business cards transfer 1:1 to a wide roster of airline and hotel partners, so a single points balance can cover a flight on one program and a hotel stay on another. That flexibility is why Sapphire Preferred is usually the first “real” travel card people get, with Sapphire Reserve as the step up for lounge access and richer travel credits.
Chase also holds the largest hotel and airline co-branded lineup — Southwest, United, IHG, and the Marriott Bonvoy cards all run through Chase — plus flat-rate and rotating-category cash back cards (Freedom Unlimited, Freedom Flex) for people who want cash, not points.
One rule matters more than any single card here: **5/24**. Chase generally won’t approve you for most of its cards if you’ve opened 5 or more credit cards (from any bank) in the past 24 months. If you’re planning a multi-card strategy, get Chase cards first.
